1and1 Review by Diets That Work, August 19, 2009
I haven’t used 1and1 in awhile. I left them for two reasons.
1) They were too pricey for what they offered.
2) Their support was lacking. It took too long to get an answer.
It looks like they have revised their pricing, so I might give them another shot.

My main experience with 1 and 1 was through my webdesign company who were running and hosting a site on 1 and 1 servers. Due to some issue between them, 1 and 1 took down over 100 of this company’s sites without warning for 24 hours! I guess there are always two sides of a story and it’s entirely possible that the web design company wasn’t exactly a good payer (I abandoned them after that experience), but it left a bad taste in my mouth re 1 and 1. So be warned, this may not be a fair review, they may be good for hosting your own site.
