Another favorite web hosting service, Hostgator offers standard shared server space, dedicated servers for more robust needs and reseller accounts for those who want to offer their customers web hosting services.

Great hosting value. I have had no problems with them after being referred by a SUPER group of guys!!
Easy setups and good value for the package I chose. Speedy support response.
The only reason why it is not a five star recommendation is that my site(s)have experienced intermittent service interruptions of an hour or so at a time for the first three months. That hasn’t happened in a couple of months so I believe that issue on that particular server has been worked out.

I have used hostgator several times when I was buying hosting and a domain from them so it was pretty straight forward, however this time I had to transfer a domain, and as I am not particularly technical I spoke to the help line (which was toll free) and they walked me through ever step, which made the whole process painless. I would definitely recommend hostgator.

Hostgator is superb, I host a number of my websites with them and the customer service is really good. The only slight issue I would have with them is that domain names are at a standard price where they can be purchased cheaper else where.

I have used hostgator several times and have never had any issues with any part of the service. I particular like the ‘cpanel’ as it is easy to use and many functions, i was able to set up a domain email address first time by just using the on screen guidance.

Our company has been using Hostgator for almost 5 years now and have found their services overall to be very good and reliable. Uptime on the hosting we would also rate high. Support has been fast every time we needed it. I have seen other hosts offer a reseller account for less, as that is what we use but we would only consider moving to a less expensive host if the quality of service changed. So we would recommend Hostgator to an individual or a company as a reliable hosting solution.

I’ve been using Hostgator for about 6 months and I love it. Support is responsive, although sometimes a bit technical for the average website builder. I chose the “Baby” hosting plan and I have been very happy with that decision. Overall, Hostgator is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a dependable, service driven hosting company.

Having tried a few other hosts I have found HostGator to be very customer friendly and helpful. In my opinion the customer service department was very helpful in getting me setup on my website and accurately answered all my questions and even fixed a couple of mistakes I had made in order to get me up and running. Very courteous and professional. I have consistently rated their customer service the highest positive rating. I feel so comfortable doing things and asking question if needed. I recommend them to my friends.

I haven’t tried any others, but I never felt the need to either. I initially went with them based on recommendations from MANY others so their third party testimonials are definitely compelling. Their customer support is excellent. I had a problem and within minutes I was able to chat with one of their tech reps and he walked me through the issue. They seem to be able to support most if not all web programming platforms without issue. The only problem is taking the time to learn it all. They do have tutorials available, so that has been very helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They also offer a reseller hosting solution which is pretty affordable. I’ll be going for that once my other projects are in place.

Hostgator is the only hosting I’ve ever used – so I was a total newbie. All credit to them, their support is really excellent – particularly the online chat support & their videos.
Oh they’re also cheap – my only quibble is that I couldn’t cash in the $25 Adwords credit as I’m outside the US

I have used a few web hosting in the past such as IXWebHosting, Bluehost, Webfaction and Hostgator. Each company has their own strength and weakness. IXWebhosting has dedicated ip. Bluehost is fast while Webfaction is good for programmer.
I think that one thing that make Hostgator difference than others is their price/value and customer support. There are many web hosting plan that you can choose from. Generally, it’s good for do your affiliate or small business website.

Host Gator has been excellent. The few issues I have had I’ve been able to solve through there chat room almost instantly Their customer service has been excellent. In the time I’ve been with them, my sites have been down only about 10 mins.

I think Hostgator customer service is great. There is 24/7 access to help, quick response to all ticket requests and detailed training videos.
I accidentally overpaid twice (PayPal oversight on my part) and Hostagtor refunded the money right away with no problems.
The price and easy C-Panel set-up are great as well. I highly recommend Hostgator.

Easy one-click Wordpress installations and super-fast support. Example: Just last week I lost all posts in a Wordpress blog. I logged issue by email at 11:43 and it was fixed by HG techies at 12:01 by removing a plugin. They fixed Wordpress! They are cheap too. I also use 5 other web hosts and HG have proved more reliable and easier to use with one-click installs via cPanel and Fantasico.

I used 5-6 host at all time to separate ip to many class c’s. I use hostgator, godaddy, bluehost, ixwebhosting, dreamhost and justhost. Compare to all of my hosts Hostgator is most easy to install and use, while godaddy is the worst. Hosgator price is also in budget compare to another. But the superior point of Hostgator in my opinion is Support and forums. cheers.

I have used HostGator for all my hosting for the past year. I have found that they are easy to work with, and every time I have used the online support/chat, I have been very satisfied. In fact, they were super helpful when I moved from a regular account to a Business account and had to move a number of domains. This is an area where I don’t want any hassles or worries, so that is why I use HG. You can’t go wrong with this hosting choice.

I’ve used Hostgator for years, love them and always recommend them. Their customer support is awesome, and it’s 24/7. You can get help through their ticket system, live chat online, or by phone. I have over 40 domains hosted with them and have never had one go down. I also like that they’re ‘green’ – they’re headquartered in Houston TX and use energy created from Texas wind.

I just signed up with HostGator. I’ve been using them for a month now.
Moving from my other hosts has been easy. My only complaint has been trying to setup MX records. Not going as smoothly as I wanted, but a) it’s an advanced feature, and b) uhm… I’ve no clue what I’m doing?
Going to contact support about it.
Anyhow… I really like what they offer… and plan on moving to a reseller package soon (I have a Baby account right now).

I have used hostgator for nearly two years now. Different domains with different accounts. In the last 2 weeks I finally opened a “reseller” account where I could host many more domains under one account.
I love the ease of setup and the speed that it all works. The hosting never seems to have any down time for me, and to be honest, I would never go anywhere else. I am a paid member of a few internet marketing programs that also use hostgator with all of their programs…social proof for them is above great.
